I have always been an active person…very sporty and competitive !
I am known for being the positive bouncy guy of the group, full of energy! Always positive and sometimes a little bit mischievous. I love a challenge and thrive on being the best.
I am driven and competitive.
Skills:-
2nd Dan Black belt in Shotokan Karate.
2nd Dan Black belt in Kickboxing
5 Full contact kickboxing fights in rings and cages plus numerous tournaments Finished my fighting spell undefeated in three k1 rules bouts .
I can do:
• Muscle ups
• Super man press ups, gorilla press ups, aztec press ups etc
• Somersaults
• The human flag
• Various kicks (hold a good side kick for photos)
Background :
I am a Personal Trainer Martial Artist/coach and Body Builder.
Health and fitness has always been a part of my life. I started Karate at 6, and never looked back.
Having started up my own business as a PT at 18 I have been in the industry before the wave or crave to become a PT began.
I believe my specialties are what make me different to everyone else.
I am extremely motivating!
I am very athletic and can do almost anything except fly…don’t tell my little boys that though as they still believe I am the actual superman!
I’ll go from deadlifting 200kgs to flipping tyres, climbing ropes, doing muscle ups and superman press-ups!
PT History:-
For the last 15 years
I have trained people from all walks of life achieve all types of goals. From gaining muscle mass, to fat loss, learning to fight, learning self defence, competitive sports athletes and body builders. Every shape, size, and ranging in ages from children to over 60s!
More recently I have opened a group training facility out of the MPFIT Birstall site, known as INTENSE specifically designed for fat loss and conditioning.
The atmosphere is exhilarating . Lots of team exercises and mini groups within a group. In my experience I have seen that this promotes people to stick at their training.
We have had some amazing results.
As well as group training I specialise in training performance contact sports athletes and conditioning body builders.
➢ Own Training style :-
I love fighter style training due to my background in martial arts but I also love bodyweight training and circuit style weights training. I believe it is essential to be able to effectively move around your body weight as best as you can before adding weight to it.
I also train to compete in the Physique category of body building, so you need to make sure you have symmetry and balance in your overall look.
I have always tried to train this way naturally. I have always trained functionally. I built up to lots of explosive bodyweight power through callisthenics training … different variations of push ups and pull ups and muscle ups and also lots of jumping too.
More recently I have really got into my weight training workouts focussing on building size as well as detail onto my physique.
