I am 37 years of age, a husband, a dad to three children and very proud to be part of the MPFIT team. I am a fully certified fitness professional with over 17 years of experience in fitness, sport, physical education, exercise physiology, nutrition and lifestyle coaching. As a former PE teacher with a BSc First Class Honours Degree in Physical Education I bring my knowledge, education and professionalism to my PT role, ensuring that you are constantly learning, that you stay motivated for results and provide the answer to your fitness and health goals. I regularly compete on stage as a physique athlete and fitness model competitor, holding pro status with two federations. This makes me accountable for my own goals, enables me to try and test various methods of training and nutrition, and just as important empowers me to lead by example, thus giving credibility to the guidance and leadership I provide for my clients. I’m very passionate about you making consistent and sustained progress with your training, nutrition and lifestyle. With intelligent coaching and the three D’s of dedication, discipline and desire, your goals and wants are achievable. My role is very much about coaching mindset and winning habits, as these are the foundations on which to build momentum and achieve goals – ‘body and mind’.
My personal training packages are below and can be 121, with a buddy or in a small group. I would very much like to help you progress.

Little bit about me, very understanding and a approachable trainer here to change lives for the better and help each individual start that change. I have been in the fitness industry for 6 years and have worked with clients of different ages, backgrounds and goals.
My training style is adapted with each client, I’m not a one trick pony, I will show you how effective just using your bodyweight can be. If muscle building is your goal, I will provide you with the fundamental resistance exercises to pack size on, fitness is the goal then we will test that with a HIIT session.
I am that trainer dedicated to your goals and will do everything in my power to push you to that finish line……..its up to you now to take that first step.
From a young age I have always pursued elite level performance. After playing professional rugby from the age of 16 sport has always been my main passion. Alongside my athletic interests I made the decision to educate myself on the theory behind exercise performance, as a result I know hold a degree in Sport & Exercise Science and a Masters in Sports Physiology. My main areas of study were sports nutrition, exercise and muscular metabolism and biomechanics. Alongside my degree I also became a lead strength and conditioning intern working with a range of professional sports clubs and individual athletes.
A string of severe injuries forced me to retire from rugby and as a result I pursued other outlets…. my new passion now lies within strength sports where I have become an international level Powerlifter.
After leaving university I became qualified as a personal trainer where I can now use my practical and theoretical knowledge to help people achieve their fitness and nutritional goals. I have experience working with a wide range of people and as a result I have learnt a great deal how to adapt my coaching approach to suit the individual.
As a trainer I am constantly developing all aspects of my coaching practice to genuinely make a difference and help people by ensuring they are educated in developing a maintainable and happy lifestyle.
I am a friendly, approachable trainer who is passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives. Through good planning and genuinely listening to my clients I will ensure you leave your session feeling energised and positive.
I specialise in transforming both ladies and gents who are trying to juggle all aspects of life and are fed up of been on a roller coaster of guilt ridden dieting and training. I will educate and empower you into taking control of your life ensuring you develop a healthy relationship with food and training. I practice what I preach: I love to train, eat well and feel great.

Nick has gained almost 20 years’ experience and knowledge with successfully coaching numerous people in reaching their fitness goals, a background in amateur boxing, competing at club and championship level. He currently competes in powerlifting and has a passion for all things strength, health and performance that spans nearly 30 years. And with a commitment to continual development as a coach and trainer, with influences such as; Mark Rippetoe, Jim Wendler, Mark Bell, Paul Check, Gary Taubes and Geoff Thompson, Nick strives to better not only himself, but all those he helps.
